We’ve been to festivals all across the country – north, south, east and west – but never have we been so northerly to the tip of the country that you might get a glimpse of Scotland while sipping a cold one in the beer garden. Enter Portrush Beer and Food Festival.
Located in the lovely seaside resort town of Portrush, The Portrush Beer & Food Festival 2017 is a celebration of artisan producers brought to the north coast of Antrim by the team behind Lacada Brewery Co-Operative. The festival runs from Friday 6th – Sunday 8th October (this weekend) and will showcase beer, spirits and food from both Ireland and abroad. The drinks list includes Whiplish, Bonac24, Beavertown, Eviltwin, The Kraken, Yellow Belly and more. This boutique festival is definitely one not to be missed!
The festival itself takes place in Portrush Town Hall and doors open at 5pm this Friday. Tickets are £6 (about €7) and can be bought at the festival.
